Biosecurity

We are lucky in New Zealand not to have the same pests and weeds that other countries struggle with. As evidenced with recent incursions such as M.bovis and Fall Army Worm being affected can be devastating to individuals and communities.   New Zealand’s biosecurity system focuses on stopping pests and diseases at the border as well as controlling or eliminating the ones already here.   Our biosecurity system is crucial to protecting farmers and growers.
